Holy ing :eyes:
That sepc list is bonkers and the connectivity is on the money.
Seems to be expensive though ($6k for the 8 voice and $8k for 16 if the rumors are true).
They'll sell like hot cakes on a cold day. |

Yeah the spec is insane.
It's not really expensive though is it? It's just that everything else has become so cheap.
It's just a lot of money if you don't have it.

Wait... for that money I can buy me an analog tape audiophile USB cable.
Or better yet does it sound better than vinyl playback?
A wiseman once told me if your going big on hardware synths your def gonna need the 6k Monster TRS Tube cables to go with it. |

ing christ.
In 1978 a three bedroom house in a semi decent area of London was 9 grand or you could have bought two Prophets. I didn't quite realize how damn expensive they are.
In fairness though, manufacturing and components costs have come down so much that a synth for $8k seems expensive.
I have no doubt they'll sell every single one and there will be a fight to get on the back order list. |

So at $500 /voice that's about a $2,000 - $3,000 supersaw lead. The Moog OSCs are pretty fat so you might be able to get that down to $1,000 - $2,000. :toothless
Speaking of Moog, I was actually just in Asheville, NC about a year ago. I was too excited about all the beer that I didn't realize the Moog factory is there, too! Could have checked out the factory store or whatever they have, oh well. :/ |
