As for stuff to do here, well, up untill about last month Gainesville has completely sucked ass when it came to music. But Acosta came one night and within a week there was, like, 5 electronic events scheduled. You may not be able to see house every night, bt some type of house or jungle or breaks or something is usually going on. Every Saturday night Simon's does a techno night. It's the most popular so far. But hey, you are in Florida, it's not a long drive to Orlando or even Miami, considering PvD will be there in December :D
As for parties, Gainesville ing rocks. If you drink, Gainesville ing rocks. If you smoke Gainesville ING ROCKS. :gsmile:
It's an all around good place, you'll enjoy it.

gville is JUST as dry or even more than tally. don't gimme that :p there was just a story in gator newspaper about it being dry. lol :p

| when the gville green is in season it is unmatched like any other, i have friends up in S. Carolina that have heard stories about the gville green, side note- but Alachua county(gville) is the #1 place in the US from shrooms,... back to music though i agree a lot with Spyke, i think Simons usually has progressive House on saturdays,...Gville is struggling to have a trance scene, but if you like house then you are in heaven b/c Vibe a decent club that plays house constantly 24/7/365, personally i cant stand it, way overkill, i did my 4 years in Gville and am back at home in Tampa, but i know that place like the back of my hand and have been up there every other weekend since graduation, damn i miss the college days :( |

Yes Flo, we are very dry. Lucky for my I happen to know one of the only guys in town that can get 1 hit :D Ya know what I had the weekend of Acosta? That was VERY pre-mature compared to what it is now :crazy: Gainesville Green is world renowned. lol, lucky for me I know a guy that grows it. September was a good month, hehehehe...
And yeah, shrooms are very friggin abundent here only because Alachua county happens to be one of the most redneck places on the planet and cows are half the in populace.
Anyway! Back to legal matters!:rolleyes: My boy Tre isying to get some Jungle in Gainesville. That would be a move in the right direction. He has the first Thursday night Jungle party scheduled for the 21st. If that does well then we'll have Jungle Thursdays at Eden, House Fridays at Vibe, and Progressive House(with some variation on that) night Saturdays at Simon's.
Well, it's electronic. It may not be Trance, but , it's better than Hearing Nelly at every club. |
