That's too bad that the Mez is closing. Very cool spot when I've attended parties long ago. Any reason for the closing?

It's being turned into a tech office and the landlord is looking at a 600% increase in rent. |

Ah yes! Sounds like the initial plans for Club Circus here in LA. I remember the owner wanting to sell the land for some huge apartment complex. Hollywood is filled with a bunch of new complexes. It's crazy! |

I drive past it every day. My missus when just yesterday "there was Circus". It's like this 10 story apartment building in the works now, with another about 5 story going up right next door to it.
Sad to think it was home to so many clubbers over the years and now it'll just be more luxury apartments. |
