| I do like Purl and I have played this album a lot. It's one of my go-to "morning albums" actually, as I tend to play really soft stuff like this at the weekend when I'm lounging around the flat with my girlfriend. He's also done similar stuff as Alveol and as Ziyal with Bass'Flo, along with probably loads of other aliases. But "one of the greatest ambient/techno albums ever made"? Really? This kind of stuff gets absolutely churned out by the likes of Silent Season, and as pleasant as it is at 9am on a Sunday morning, it's ultimately a particularly lovely pattern of wallpaper music. |
