| We be starting our basement remodel on Monday. The only catch, I need to clear out everything from the basement! That will be my weekend. |

| Worked from home today, and just finished mowing. It's supposed to rain tomorrow (Sat.), and we're having a little graduation party Sunday for my younger step daughter, so I wanted to get that knocked out. About to knock off a few Sam Adams, now. |

Holy cow, I get to post in here!
Went to check out synthwave auteur Perturbator at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver (with a certain Ish' individual), which resides in the infamous Downtown Eastside of the city. I knew Perturbator leaned into the metal side of synthwave (darksynth), as he's signed to Swedish death metal label Blood Music, but I wasn't expecting such a rivethead showing, complete with mosh pit.
The light show was bonkers though. |

Time to watch a movie tonight. |

| I have been a useless e today. Good thing I mowed yesterday, as the rain did arrive...waiting on round 2, now. Graduation party tomorrow. That should be enough to saturate my "social anxiety nerve" for weeks/months to come. |

| In keeping with everyone else, it's been an extremely lazy weekend here. I napped for three straight hours earlier, and then woke up feeling punch drunk, which pretty much wrote off my day. I suppose I did most of my revelling in midweek, watching the football on Tuesday and Wednesday in a bar and then food and drinks on Thursday night. Weather is dog here too so I don't feel I'm missing out. |

Had late birthday celebration for the missus last night then on to a friends for dinner and drank some ridiculously expensive bourbon - I feel kinda bad as I had no idea it cost that much but it was opened it on a whim, was amazing. Have a new appreciation for it now.
Finally rolled home at 3:30am and feeling knackered. Thankfully have tomorrow off. |

me. The scousers actually did it.
I saw Klopp on TV the day before the match basically saying like "it's not ideal to have our two best players and needing to score 4 goals but it's possible".
And then they ing do it.
Against Barca.
And now Tottenham have the game of their lives.
Well played England. I can't ing believe it. |
