Your Mum just shelled out $7k (of not $10k) for monitors, but last month you were complaining about not having money to make rent?

I hope you realize how ing lucky you are. There's people on here that can't afford $200 for kit. And others that can but simply can't just justify dropping anything more than $200 because I just don't have time to produce or even mix anymore :(

Ahh that was trap bait for Palmy..lol. Shoulda got those instead of the digital PMC's tho when I had the chance.

I traded my LYD-7's for ADM a7x's for free. Both were great monitors but the Ads are step ahead.

Next purchase after selling some kit like a Furman powerconditioner which now I'm highly agains't filtration, imo, regulator is more suitable, no dynamic tampering imo.

Getting the middle part between woofer and tweeter forgot what it is called is the sweetspot, after giving it a try with my hifi stand made from glass I heard why my investment in acoustic treatment was high. I heard fullness and was happy compared to my 36 inch stands, these are 28'' inch and only for 75 bucks., for both.

tbh, we'd never know. It's not like Mom and pops hasn't bought your studio.

Both are good, although I found the ribbon tweeter in the Adam's gave me Hi freq fatigue after while but YMMV.

Have no ing clue what you're trying to say here, but it sure sounds like you've been listing to the same guys that sold you that $1500 USB cable again.

idk..I find that using the wall's power felt more adequate then using filtered power, could be placebo but have any ideas how I can A/B test the sound coming from my monitors using Furman vs the Wall (with regular surge protector)

It's in your head. I'm serious. Your unregulated wall power does not sound better that conditioned power.

It amazes me that you even have these thoughts.

From what I've read on gearslutz and other sources the talk about the wall setting vs a conditioner for amp is pretty common. Do i need a conditioner or am I better off without one, should I just use a regulator from furman with surge? I'm not the authority on power def neither are you but I also know furman is number 1, ok so, wow? There are also theories that using a strip for all your components would be more suitable because filtering power you compromise, now that talk is common everywhere so don't bs me.

I sold and serviced Furman power conditioners for 4 years at one job, then sold both furman and other more industrial power conditioning brands, did installation consultancy for mid and large applications for another 3 years including 3 phase projects and for some of the most respected studios on the planet.

Not going to help you whatsoever.

Don't ask for advice then start ing throwing around insults like a toddler that can't reach the toilet roll.

Go on to gearslutz, let some genius talk you in to selling all your kit, Palm and MSZ will it up at a tasty discount then you can use that money to buy silver plated power outlets and $1500 usb cables becuase they told you it makes it all sound better.

For making trance. In your bedroom.

P.s. What's your email? I know this nigerian prince guy that needs to get all his money out of the country. You seem like the right fit.

I wrote what came up on google what does that have to do with anything else? Also, I'm curious, what your saying adds more to the table of technical know-how like service furman power where there are transformers and stuff like that yet you don't know how to tie your shoelaces even if it came with a know-how manual that you weren't aware of aka like calibrate a dj cartridge with the same turntable you say you serviced.

It's all basic stuff bro..

I want to see paper-work or photocopy id, you're on mac right? command-shift-4 for screenshot. What was your next job, clean toilets? You don't need to prove, we know :stongue:

I mean, I do have a signed release on beatport that I never told anyone on here because I'm not looking for attention like someone I know. You want to wear the Heavyweight TA belt who knows the most on here, wear it i don't care, I'm not here to impress people i never met or even seen or heard of. Your life must suck big time if you need our so-called attention it's that obvious.
