This is one of those times whena TV producer has said "Let's get a DJ on TV!" and then they realize that staring a guy, in a dark room, mixing two records together isn't particularly great TV.
"I know, let's get an MC, scantily clad punters and build a fake club with studio lighting and mic the crowd".

The show, Electric Circus, was basically Canada's Soul Train, except playing house and eurodance for a very white audience. It was a dope show for budding club kids in the '90s, before it rebranded to feature star DJs and acts like Aqua and Brooklyn Bounce.

The studio where it went down was on a corner with huge windows, if I remember correctly. Is this it? :conf:

I know exactly where you mean but I don't think that was it.
I think the studio was on Queen, as there used to be some of the people hanging outsid from the show. It was on my way to school at Queen and Parliament.
