A day late, but my three weeks of vacation just started. It's gonna be hot next week so another good choice to stay in the country.

Well not me, however, I'm having some pollo tropical for lunch and dinner, the chicken came out nice fresh and cooked. I just finished recording a promo a few hours ago, check the sig and I have alot of listening to do, bunch of fresh new mixes I got lined and cued up for tonight and tomorrow morning.

I briefly considered doing something crazy and going to NYC see the Chemical Brothers before I go to LA (what with me already being in US soil in August), but then found out I'd have return to Brazil to go back to the US once again... Not worth it.

My weekend to work, but got today off. Spent the day at the beach with my sweet fam, and went over to my sister in law's to meet and play with her new puppy.
Heading to NYC next weekend for Sasha and Digweed. :)

That's what I was thinking, you're totally right!
But, it also occurred to me that the money I'd spend going to Brazil and back (only to return to the US on the following day) would be enough to purchase some top end synth... And I sort of realised I've always had loads of plans but had always put them on hold to focus on a tenure. Now that I'm tenured, I can let my hair down a bit and publish the textbooks I wanted and release a track or two.

I'm now doing research on whether I should pay taxes here, and how much more I'd have to pay for luggage room and whatnot. I know I can get the bottom one here in Brazil, but the top one looks like so much damn fun, and it's not available here...
