Ive seen a good bit of posts on this forum about how todays trance cant compare at all to the '99-ish sound. I concur. So Im starting this thread so we can all share fairly new songs that are more like those kind of tunes.
I want to try and avoid the generic anthem that is put out today. Examples of tunes that wouldnt go well in this thread, Ligaya, GTR - Mistrial, Time to Die, Eon - Pocket damage, ect.
The kind of tunes im thinking about, ones like BT - Giving up the Ghost, Union Jack - Red Herring, PvD - Words, classic Platipus type stuff, more on the acid side than todays trance.
So post away! I cant think of any newer tunes,but feel free to mention some great oldies too. All those tunes right above ya are fine oldies, the kind of stuff im looking for more of.
I know ill probably be flamed for this, but I really dont care, so dont waste your time :D |

| Hmm found a nice one. Mesh - Purple Haze. Suffers from a predictable huge breakdown/buildup, but the sounds and construction are awesome. Very nostalgic feel. |
