| Ah yes, forgot to reply about this. It's a nice set, does exactly what's expected of it. Obviously the mixing is very minimal, but the flow between the tunes is nice and easy. It's funny that a set like this, without really much technical skill on show or any obvious jaw-dropping great tunes, is probably more satisfying and re-listenable than the majority of DJ sets I'll hear this year. |

| Thanks, Jack. Yeah, this was pretty simple and straightforward but I made sure to play some stuff that actually had some sort of funk. Exploring this genre you will find a scene littered with Nujabes clones falling all over themselves to create the most Japanese-inspired, woman wearing a kimono walking through cherry blossoms in spring, songs that are overly saturated with saccharine pianos and violins. I played some easy weather channel type stuff until the Esbe track tuned it up a bit. This was fun to make and definitely goes nice in the car. Appreciate the good review man. |

| Yeah, I've definitely found that from listening to Spotify playlists of this stuff. It still requires the taste maker's touch to find the good jams, same as any genre. |
