Is this one available digitally? Google reveals to me a Spotify link (https://open.spotify.com/album/71Fo...rc24V2BIlFJdRgh) but nothing comes up on my Spotify, suggesting the digital rights are territory restricted. I'd love to have a copy to DJ with. Anyone who can sort me out will be richly rewarded in the next life.
For those who don't know, this is the version Oakey opened CD2 of Another World with, and in my opinion is easily the best mix of the tune:

Good lord Ted, that's the closest thing to a helpful post you've made in about five years. I feel honoured.
I might just buy Another World on CD, since Oakey pretty much plays the entire track without a second of mixing, the lazy addled man-chimp. And the first disc is pretty good. |

Yeah, Rough Cut uploaded this version to Soundcloud with a message that the track is up for remix again... but that was a year ago. I know these things can take a while, so hopefully the full package will go up in the near future. |

It used to be available for sale digitally; I bought it on Beatport years ago. Not sure why it was eventually taken down.

Definitely Oakey's best. It's funny, back in 2002 and 2003 I picked it up so many times in my local HMV and read the tracklist only to put it back on the shelf. I remember it clearly because I always found it weird that Silence was listed as "The Silence 2000". For some reason I never bought it, probably because it was an expensive import - £18 or something like that. It wasn't until about ten years later that I finally heard it. |
