5/8/2020 - (Possibly) Sasha and Digweed in SF... Venue Unknown

So I saw an email from Syd Gris (founding partner for Opel/Opulent Temple) who suggested saving the date for S&D. After replying to his email he confirmed it was Sasha and Digweed.
No official confirmation so all word of mouth but if it's true, HOLY ! I'm also hoping for an LA date as well. I would imagine 5/9/2019 (Saturday). |

I've heard of rumors of them playing at EDC Vegas this year so this "west coast tour" in May 2020 sounds about right.
Can't wait as I havent seen them play in years. I may have to eat a bunch of LSD like old days:nervous: |

I went to the 'new' ruby skye, august hall, although only once. It's much better because they fired the entire security team and replaced them with non-s.
And 1015, anything is better than that hole. |

Really?!?! I used to LOVEEE 1015 when Spundae was there. It tanked a lot after they left and moved to Ruby. It seems like it's been a cool hot spot lately considering some of the artists that have been performing there. |

come check it out sometime, go to the main room and tell me if it's enjoyable xD
I used to go all the time, during the 2014-2015 time frame on thursdays. They had a recurring event that was a SINGLE ROOM so their ticket sales were limited compared to the venue cap (see below for the context here). It was AWESOME, it would get a little packed up there, but in the good way.
Here's the simple problem of 1015: they have 4 rooms. 3 of these 4 rooms will be empty, and everyone will be in the main room. They will oversell their total capacity given the fire marshall's limit for 4 rooms combined, every single night without fail. It sucks, it's not enjoyable. It's a club, you need at least should length room and they dont even have that, it's body to body in there and not in the good, sweaty dancy way, in the 'oh i'm going to die, this is extremely uncomfortable, and everyone is rude as and angry at how packed it is in here' way.
I dont know anyone who goes to 1015 anymore. When we see it come up, we get sad because we have to pass on whomever is playing. |

my times there were very similar earlier in the evening. After about 2ish, the main room started to thin out and you were given a bit more breathing room. Always liked to hang out on the left side if you were facing the dj booth. Easy access to the bar when needed. if you gotta pee though... good luck :(

This is sad to hear. I haven't been to 1015 since about 09/10. Going there next Friday for a show. Hope it isn't too crowded |
