Oakenfold - Pop Killer

Hi,
apologies if this isn't the right place for this question but I wasn't sure where it should go.
I'm a long time Oakey fan, way back to the 90s and although I'm probably a bit too old to be into trance/progressive music (according to my kids), I still like to listen to the occasional mix and Oakenfold still gets regular nostalgic airtime. Don't get me wrong, I know there are many more skilled djs, but there was always something about his song selection that struck a chord with me.
Anyway, I digress...I seem to recall a studio album release called Pop Killer that was apparently imminent for release 5 or 6 years ago.
Have I missed this? Has it not happened? Has anything official been mentioned about it being cancelled/delayed?

Discogs doesn't list anything of the sort under his regular name. Didn't dig much deeper than that under the various aliases though.
Really, if you're ever curious if anything was officially released, Discogs remains your best source to find out. |
