| Ultra in Miami just got cancelled because of coronavirus concerns. I bought tickets last month for Movement (DEMF) which is Memorial Day Weekend and wondered right after I got them if it will end up being cancelled. We shall see. EDC is like in 6 weeks and yup we'll see if that ends up still happening. There is no way I would go to EDC this year honestly as it was 450,000 people last year, or more than 10x bigger than DEMF. This might end up being the year of festivals being postponed and cancelled. |

We've postponed our family trip to Barcelona this summer. Haven't bought flights yet but have bought tickets to the Innervisions party during Sonar. Figured we'd wait it out and see what happens. |

Miami cancelled Ultra because they've been having beef with the festival for a while. This was their excuse they've been waiting for.
Also, it wasnt cancelled, it was postponed.
Coachella and other festivals are still going forward as of now. We'll have to see what each city and festival does, it's not just up to the government or individual festival owners, but each independently. If the CDC comes out and says 'everything is banned', then yeah, maybe. Out of all cities, Vegas is going to be the last to cancel a gigantic festival of income.
Otherwise, don't panic! |
