I don't really keep up too closely with the psytrance scene, so it always surprises me when I return and still find high quality tunes. This didn't take too long to put together and I even used a few older tunes that I had purchased for previous mixes but never played. Loved putting this together, some nostalgic vibes with melodic trance, deep trance, and some heavy psychedelic energy. This is the sweet spot for me, between progressive and full-on, where both psychedelic music and trance can thrive.

I've had a gander today mate. I've not been listening to or playing much of this sound at all lately but I can always count on you to reinvigorate my interest. It's especially handy if I've got a peak time gig coming up (which I would have done, were it not for lockdown!)
There's lots of high quality material here. My personal highlights were:
Liquid Soul - Cydonia (E-Clip Remix) [Iboga]
Liquid Soul & Protonica - Levitate (ft. Ljuuba) [Iboga]
State Azure - Hex (Magnus Remix) [Funk Lab]
Daniel Lesden - Pangea Proxima [Digital Om]
Frost Raven & Mark L - Fantasma [Critical Overload]
Flow and mixing nice and consistent too. I'd say the only improvement I'd suggest would be a little more journey to the mix, but really that's personal taste. It certainly served it's purpose of serving me up some gems to play 😀 |

Hey thanks Jon. Shame about the cancelled gigs, but I'm sure there will be some in the future again someday where you can test out a few of these weapons :p
As far as a journey-like experience, I'm with you, this mix is fairly straightforward where I'm just kinda shredding at the same level for a vast majority of the mix. I wish there were more artists like Moon Tripper and Magnus who can layer so many melodies and atmospheres while still keeping the energy high.

this was good. Psy trance is making a bit of a comeback, but you've ben at this for a while now before the new rage.

| Hey thanks! If you check out my set archive (it's a bit outdated, doesn't have the last 2 years) you'll see that I delve into all sorts of genres. My output frequency has decreased as of late but I try to make sure it's quality. |
