I've never ignored anyone, in part because I completely overlooked that as an option, but in larger part because I've never dealt with anyone disruptive enough to make me consider it.
It's not long before you link a username with a certain pattern of behavior, and I suppose my way of ignoring them was just to keep on scrolling.

Oh man, I was inches away from meeting that guy so many years ago. I don't remember the details, but it was something about a boat, that he had, that he would be docking in a nearby harbor, which themselves should have been red flags numbers 1 and 2.
I should have left instructions for all of you that, should the police come knocking, tell them I went out and risked my life for something far more dignified.
I doubt he's dead, but with those dreads, he's definitely been cancelled for cultural appropriation.
