Btw I guess this is the perfect thread then, to tell you all about how I took too high a dose of homemade edibles a month ago. Made weed butter and then baked some cookies, but was too lazy to do a THC calculator/thought "Eh I'll just eat half a cookie and take my chances."
I was insanely high and paranoid for four unrelenting hours. The short of it is, I thought I was being monitored as part of some Apple/Covid contact tracing conspiracy (I was home alone, btw). I puked three times, and since I had visited the orthodontist earlier that day, when I was throwing up I immediately thought of Omnisphere and his rantings about dental surgery, and I thought perhaps my doctor implanted a tracing chip in my teeth. LOLOL.
The whole time I kept thinking 1) Thank I am alone! and 2) Imagine if I had driven to the beach like I planned?! :stongue:
Anyway, the next day I did the THC calculator. Turns out I ingested roughly 200mg of THC. :wtf: |

250mg or 10ml of DuBon Rosee Nordique oil (varies between 20 t0 30mg an ml) straight up as my usual dose (5ml start, 5ml more in 2 hours). Take the whole bottle (20ml) for camping.
I was excited for cannabis drinks, but when I saw how low the thc content was (10mg) my became soft because I don't want to drink 12 liters of overpriced flavorwater to get high. My neighbour gets high on 6. Lucky him.

Well tolerance accounts for a lot. Obviously I grossly overestimated mine. Even a quarter cookie at roughly 100mg a few nights later was pushing the boundary of a pleasant/tolerable trip. Lol. |

Since I forced myself to quit everything fun, I'm all about pushing my weed consumption limits like a homo with his in a zucchini field.
But yeah, my tolerance is high due to past transgressions.
I can remember meeting a cor whore and her friend when they visited town...you should have seen the look on her face when i handed each of them a prescription bottle full of e before even saying hello.
Now I do like drinking Heineken 0 percent beer while trying to convince myself that drinking calamine lotion wouldn't be more satisfying.
Try oil i mentioned. No calculator needed for dosing. 30 bucks for 500 to 600mg of THC. Comes with a measuring syringe. It's probably the only thing worth buying from a gov dispensary because black market weed is way cheaper,way better quality, and there is way more selection. |

I shared a brownie with a friend last week and got monstrously stoned from it. We ate it at about 8pm and when she left at about 12:30am I was still getting higher and higher. I went to bed and felt like I was flying through hyperspace for about half an hour. Was definitely on that borderline of turning into an unpleasant ordeal, but luckily I fell asleep. Was still high as well into the next afternoon though. Thank Christ I'm working from home at the moment. |

| I find that the older I get and the greater time/distance between any use...the more a high would result in just 99% unpleasant paranoia for me. When I was in my early 20s, and a daily user, I got over the paranoia part in about a month's time. But, for me, that did take regular, daily use. I tried some "White Widow" a friend grew at home about 5 to 7 years after I gave up regular use. Holy hell. I was in one of Pie's paranoid conspiracy theory trips...only mine involved the US getting involved in a nuclear exchange with Iran. That was a long, unpleasant afternoon. |
