I hope they DON'T play a single familiar tune... I just wish they could pump it all night long with all the new, unplayed, unknown tunes, because that would make that party so much better! Why? Because some of us just get sick of listening to the same songs over and over, and then recognizing them in clubs too... (one more reason I love seeing Mr. Satoshi swing by, cuz he always plays stuff that no one has even heard). |
Normally id say the same, but since this is going to be AT LEAST 6 hours, a few classics are bound to be played. Satoshi?? Do you mean Satoshi Tomiie???? And if so......WHEN IS HE COMING HERE!?!?!? |

Yeah, they'll have to fill in that 6 hour slot with some familiar tunes, and I don't mind that... as long as they throw in some new, unreleased or freshly released stuff.
And for Mr. Satoshi, I have no idea when he's coming to T.O, but as soon as that happens, I'm there 200%... one of the rare DJs I wouldn't miss for I dunno what! |

6 hours doesn't really mean too much in the way of familiarity either.
Look at Labour of Love, they played for 5 ing hours and I recognized a total of 3 songs, only 3 god damn songs.
- Safe From Harm
- Under the Water
- Thrill Her (thriller dub)
Thats it, the trick with deep dish is to expect nothing. They range from house, dark prog to techno (who heard Sharamms last hour, wow) |

Plus if you scream loud enough, you might hear your voice on the new GU CD, cause they recording it that night. DEEP DISH LIVE @ GUVERNMENT.
|
That is precisely my plan |

| ^ what! hahahah Thats not what is going on at all. The G.U's are just a reflection of the actual sets. They are not live. |

All of my G.U. cds dont have the crowd screaming in it. I didnt expect it to be different in Toronto.
