Hi everyone!
For the past 3-4 years I would always DJ using djay app on the iphone and became quite good at it! I finally purchased a Pioneer DDJ-400 a little over a week ago and recorded my first set on REKORDBOX.
Please give it a listen and LMK what you think! starts chill and builds up.

thanks man.
i love techno and deep house, but just wanted to start with something a bit more mainstream. Although I did sprinkle some mainstream darker stuff in the first set. |

Nice man, I remember my first pioneer gear: CDJ-200s. I bought two from another TA, at an amazing price of $400 (about 50% retail). We had the cops roll up when I was inspecting it, apparently we were in a federal parking lot, which we were not allowed to be in.
They worked great, used them for years and took them around. Eventually, I sold them for $400. Great investment with the number of hours I slammed on them :whip: I wonder where they are now...
Pioneer is great, man. I'm in the NI world now, they make solid gear, but pioneer just has a tad bit more polish. Enjoy your journey! |

thanks man. it's really fun, and each week I learn more and improve.
becoming a perfectionist so when I record my weekly sets it sucks when I mess up in the last transition and have to start all over again. |
