SOLD :p

Just out of curiosity, is this the original "Touch Me" including the uncleared Spandau Ballet sample over which he was sued?
Not sure I've heard that particular version and I've thought about buying the vinyl, but it's not a priority at the moment.

Anyway this looks real good.
SYSTEM-J
No, it's actually the version from his Remixed & Produced album with slightly better production than the single version.

Any chance of a d/l link for part 1? Thanks.

Downloads enabled on Part 1 now :)

Some real ball tinglers in this set - I'm quite pleased with it :D

I listened to part 1 and that quivver & angel heart track is a really groovy track. john graham does a nice job of stripping the full on vocals with a dub mix just like he did in the 90's.

This was an overall nice selection of tunes for the most part and enjoyable, helping get through my mundane workday.

To be honest on the overarching macro level, the set felt a little aimless, but clearly this was just a fun throwdown from a couple of gents with great taste, so I'm not trying to be too critical. I do understand the challenge in creating direction when playing vs with someone, it's often hard to get the chemistry right, but seems you guys play pretty well together, so well done in that regard.

I certainly miss the fun in getting to spin tunes with other friends.

That graph on the SoundCloud page is very funny

That FX at the end, though :stongue:

I very much enjoyed this. Good selection of classics and new tunes, tracks I knew and didn't. My one suggestion would have been to end with 'Reign,' as the last two tracks seemed a bit out of place, unless you were going to continue with another hour or two of similar stuff.

Shame I couldn't see you last week, Jack, hope it was a nice trip! Jon, I trust you weren't stabbed in that incident! :(

Thanks for all the comments people - I'm still getting quite a bit of a buzz when I listen to it back (was an excellent soundtrack to the beaches in Corfu a couple of weeks ago)

Joe - still here mate, haven't been out in Birmingham for a while now so managed to avoid the lunatics. Regarding the last couple of tunes - I couldn't resist throwing a couple of trance favourites in at the end. I like to think that in the glory years, most prog DJs weren't adverse to throwing the odd curve ball by someone like Astral Projection in - and I'm no different haha

SYSTEM-J
I'd like to make it clear I had nothing to do with the ending, comedy sound effects and all.

As Mahatma Gandhi never said - " So much musical goodness in two sessions " Yeah , me , I said that, not that Indian fakir. Keep safe. :whip:
