I know the Republicans have been doing all of this for years: gerrymandering, accusing the other side first/loudest of what they've been doing all along, cheating in every "legal"/technical way possible. But damn. To decide that THIS moment is the time to stage an (attempted) coup and to hitch their wagons to Trump's "star"...what the actual ? I mean, if you are going to risk your political career, your private industry career, and ultimately even your life over a political figurehead...why the would you pick Donald J. Trump? Even the most bat crazy person could see him for what he is. JFC on a pogo stick. Can't they even wait for someone more slick and charismatic? This is beginning to make me think the er has some kind of supernatural power/deal with the devil magic going, because anyone that can put on a pair of pants in the morning, unassisted, can see the con man for what he is. I want to be clear here: I do not WANT that. At all. I simply mean to express exasperation and surprise and a total lack of understanding as to why anyone consuming oxygen would pick Trump, of all inadequate asshats, as "their guy".
