I used the search function here to find set info for Paul Oakenfold essential mixes today. I had a track in my head and knew the answer would be here.

Good to see some familiar faces around - just loading some live sets to my phone for a long car journey tomorrow - I still have www_tranceaddict_com in the file names on my older sets!

I distinctly remember seeing files on Napster with the tranceaddict suffix, and following that to the site…back when the homepage had a graphic of someone peeing on the Metallica logo. That was back when swamper fought in the great mp3 wars at the end of the 20th century.

I still lurk here, and still really miss the old search function!

What’s up all the original TranceAddict members! Long time no speak! Anyone still around from 20 years ago? Swamper, WickedNeo, Konijn etc? So many names I forgot! Figured I’d login for giggles.

Remember what a small community we were back in 2001? Everyone knew each other and I have great memories! Especially my debates haha.

Chime in if you are original TranceAddcit members! We had fun back in the day!

Brooks/tiesto14 the legendary -stirrer! Shoutout to swamper for maintaining craigslist-levels of consistency. TA will always be a special place . I still listen to the ‘98-‘05 stuff regularly and a surprising (for someone in their mid-40s) amount of new-ish tech house.
Only on IG these days - nycnikos. Hope everyone is well!

Ah I stopped being a Tiiesto fan back in 2005. Still like the 99-2002 stuff though.

Remember how many times I got banned for bugging out back in the day? WickedNeo would ban me in a heartbeat hahaha.

I’m doing great though, hope you are also. I’m an old man now (46) with adult issues hahahahaha. TranceAddict was such an important part of my life and I thank you for creating it!

I was also here in the early days. Got banned for being delusional.

The login page says I last logged in on 17 October 2005! I guess that makes me one of the original members. I am so glad to see TA still running and going strong. The layout and the graphics are still the same, which is comforting. I am still in love with trance music all these years, though I haven't visited TA forums. I am relistening to all the classic tracks from Ferry and Armin lately, which made me check this forum out again. It makes me want to upgrade my sound system to properly enjoy trance music!

Your happy, positive vibe is reminiscent of TA back then.
