Latest figures show 35% of 18 to 30-year-olds have not had their first jab."

Will other places follow suit?
I guess any travelling DJ will need to get vaxxed. Between this and what France is doing, interesting policy decisions coming our way over the next little while... |

Well, at least the old punters won't have to complain about all the damn kids in clubs for a while. |

| It’s becoming a bit of a mess again here in the States. Just about 50% vaccinated as of this post which is pretty disheartening. |

| This news doesn't effect me but it's good to know what's happening in the UK club scene. |

| Fully support this. I'm just glad they're giving everyone a fair chance to get jabbed before they enforce it. Clubs reopened here this week and tomorrow will be my first time on a dancefloor in a year and a half. |

Policy decisions in the UK/EU have gone nutty in the last few weeks. We're flying to France in a few days for a two-week pitstop on our way to Greece. Two weeks ago, we needed tests, paperwork, etc. to get in even if double vaccinated. If you were vaccinated plus two weeks you didn't have to do any of it. So we found a walk-in clinic doing second vaccines after four weeks from the first dose because of our departure dates. Still glad we did it, but the limitations and stressors aren't half as much. Meanwhile, if you visit France and return to the UK, you have to quarantine, test, etc. Can't help the UK's decision has a political undertone. France just wants tourists to flock to its borders. But a month ago neither had this approach and now delta cases are even higher.
That said, I agree with the decision for clubbers. People will say it's coercing/forcing young people to get a vaccine blah blah blah. Young people can party where they want, when they want. Don't have to do it in clubs. You want to get into a club, get the vaccines. Simple as that. You have a choice. If you choose not to, don't complain of some conspiracy. |
