I really wanted to post a pic of my kiddo but pedos scare me enough. I'm sure you have some awesome ones to share too.
I love kids. So much so I wrote a book I'm publishing soon :) |

I've finally been given my first anti-rona shot:
This is unlike any other shot I had ever been given: from the lack of rubber gloves to driving thru the vaccination point, this isn't how we usually do it around here. But, we were seriously lagging behind compared to other Brazilian states, so I got my jabs along with 40 thousand other brasilienses. My body now demands I hibernate the whole weekend, and I'm happy to oblige.

(Stems from all the times seeing him stare off into space and wondering what he was thinking about, which was nothing, but I've made it into something.)
Wrote it and created a collage of a book from scratch using hundreds of old magazines for his first birthday. Responses from close family and friends were so good that I started thinking about hiring an illustrator to do the art for it with the purpose of publishing. Didn't want to hire just anyone but finally found someone super cool through the grapevine. At the same time my wife reached out to publishers. Waiting for him to tidy it up and then we'll send it out to see what they think. If they don't bite, we are going for it ourselves. Probably should do anyway but I've always wanted the self satisfaction of someone else picking up a work of mine like it matters. Meanwhile I continue writing more with a focus on kids. My writing raps thing has come in handy - kind of Dr. Seussish.
Loved the pic of your bookshelves btw. Neat idea. And congrats on your jab (drive thru :wtf: ). May you live in peace. |
