I've started doing a quarterly round-up this year. Just the finished the one for Q2 and there's lots of trance-y and trance-adjacent stuff so I thought people here might find something they dig!

Quarterly round-ups are the way to go!

The things I know on this list I like, so I will dig through the rest. It feels like it's already been a decent year for albums - one of the many upsides to the current '90s fetishism is that people have started making great ambient techno LPs again. I've been playing that Maara album on repeat.

In a similar vein, albeit with more of a sun-drenched Outback vibe to it, I don't see Reflex Blue's recent album in either of your quarterly round ups, so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it: https://reflex-blue.bandcamp.com/al...-nature-lp-wv02

I think it was you, Woony, who said once that we're living a moment in Electronic Music where there's a lot of good stuff out there, but not great/exceptional stuff.

I think that's very true. Or not...it could be me the problem :).

Anyways, here's some tracks/releases that i find good enough to share:

ANNE - Clocks

Morphic Resonance - Hypnoman

Pugilist - Misanthrope

R.M.K - In The Jungle

Skee Mask - Reviver

Spray - Q3projz

ASC - Pulsewave

Asphalt DJ & Gzardin - Southern Expedition

Clint - Cyber Coral (Tribal Sensation Mix)

Orphx - Sau Zuk

Luigi Tozzi - Spiral (Rrose Remix)

Function - Aeternum (Meridian)

Furtive - Intrepid Smiles (Golden)

Mortar & Pestle - Pound Or Be Pounded

Mortar & Pestle - Girls Night Out In Berlin

If you're digging, you know. If you're not, you don't. Same , different year. Some grow older, some grow wiser. Some get old and don't know the difference.
