Sup everyone. I'm new to this forum and hope to gain some new understanding and insights from you seasoned techno wizards as I frequent this lost past time of being part of a forum community again. It feels like home being in an oldschool internet forum again. Glad to join all you fellow travellers of mind space and time.
My love for Trance and electronic music was recently reignited again after a long decade of confusion and suffering. I could go so far as to say that this genre of music was the reason I woke up out of that coma of mine. These last 3 months have been exceptionally electric for me.
I began creating stuff. I don't know why but I started making motion videos of a psychedelic nature. I would start creating and adding and editing and it would just naturally turn out to be portals and geometries with vibrant colors and packaged all together and put to motion in abstract ways. Then one day as I was listening to Astrix on SiriusXM I had a sudden epiphany. I felt a need to create videos for Trance music that I liked. By then I had already created 3 to 4 videos prior to having the epiphany. So I was set to task.
In a strange and unbelievably synchronistic event, I realized that one of my videos I had already created was the exact same length in time of this one Astrix song. They were exact. So out of curiosity, I slapped the two together using video production software. My God...how is this possible? The video I created a week ago is moving to the sounds of this song I just discovered. The song and the video were matching in almost identical ways. I was completely baffled. Was it pure coincidence or had the universe opened its doors of magic to me?
Then it happened again with another video I had made prior. And again. 3 seperate instances of universal synchronicity occured at such a creative level. I knew then that this is no coincidence. I posted the videos on YT and was met with instant skyrocketing viewership and subscribing. Then it all levelled out at a certain point after I had dedicated myself to creating visualizers for the songs I enjoy. 40 videos later, I'm here now. I need your opinions. Is this something I should continue and push through with? Or is it ultimately something that will get swallowed up in comparison to AI videos and ignored by the dumbed down masses?
I keep getting better and better. I don't really do any post production editing at all. I put geometries together with different lighting effects and set them to motion. Whatever it creates in the process is what I believe to be genuine unbiased unfiltered absolute truth of the connection between sound light and shape. My intentions remain pure with my creations and I enjoy creating visual universal truths as a way for me to fight back against disinformation and obstruction of the truth of life and creation. I'm just at a fork in the road here.
Sorry for writing so much. It's important that I establish where I'm coming from. What do you think?
