Look at you lazy c0r wh0res, waiting for me to start this, on a leap year no less! :whip: :haha:
Today, the morrow of Feb 29 brings us to yet another weekend - what say you?!

Been such a winter so have been getting out skiing as much as possible....so that's what I did Friday.
Took a ski trip out to BC a couple weeks ago and THAT was killer. All the people we chatted with on the lifts said we had the best snow/weather all season! :gsmile:
I guess this has been the impact of adulting on our Friday threads: I was seriously thinking of seeing Sepultura tonight for their farewell tour. But, I ended up looking after my in-laws and chilling out playing Civilization and doing paperwork at the farm.
So, yeah, no bloody roots for me this weekend, so hardly a post-worthy event in the Lira household :p

Currently playing Civ VI with all those innumerable DLCs. Civ II got me into the series and, after a couple of decades not playing any computer games at all, Civ V pulled me back in :p
Nice to see more Civ players around here :)

I know, right? :toothless
But, after a couple of health scares from our families, it's a choice we made: we'd rather spend our weekends with our parents while they're here, than regret we didn't once they're gone.

Last week was... eventful. Our cat managed to swallow some sewing thread which perforated his intestine, so he had to get rushed into surgery to have 30% of his gut removed, so I spent most of the week stressed as he was going to die and rack up an enormous veterinary bill in the process. He's home now, the fluffy little idiot.
Then on Friday night I had my first DJ gig of the year, and it ended up being probably the most fun I've ever had playing out. I hadn't had time to practise at all in the build up so I had no idea what I was going to play 10 minutes before I went on the decks. I thought I was going to balls it up completely when my first tune cleared half the people off the dancefloor, but I ended up steadying the ship and building it up until the place was going off. To go from panic to getting applauded off the decks with no prep in advance was especially satisfying.
I played this one with a few BPM knocked off it in the middle of my set, and it still does the business:
