TA came up in conversation with a friend the other day which triggered a wave of nostalgia.
thankfully chrome remembered my password.
These days, the idea of staying up to see a DJ start at midnight seems like a fools errand. Also, more than 2 beers and my body hates me.
The idea that forums were the primary source of community online before Fb, insta, etc. is but a distant memory. Holy times have changed.
Hope all of you are doing well on whatever path life took you. I appreciate the memories and good times this forum provided in my younger years. Thanks folks |

Nostalgia for sure...last time I checked in here was 2021.
When I lived in NY I went to my first and only Labour of Love @ Guvernment in Toronto, in 2006. What a night that was. Digweed, Hernan, Junkie XL, Andy C, I think Armin and Ferry were there too. Recently found some old grainy videos, awful clipping audio, that someone posted on YouTube and relieved it all over again. Absolutely worth driving 8 hours.
I remember it was so packed and so hot in there it's like the ceiling was dripping...or we just got rained on with sweat. We came out with our shirts streaked. Never had that before. No regrets.
No way that was 18 years ago... |
