A bit further down the page Jon has shared his all night long set at DLH from last month (it's here, if you're reading this 70 years into the future). After seven hours behind the decks he was understandably exhausted, so guess who got the afterparty duties? Yep, that's right. I didn't plan to upload this, but listening back to the recording it's so much fun I had to share it.
For a bit of context, there were about 30 people at the afterparty, most of them dancing around the decks on the kitchen table. I had been playing for about 15 minutes before we pressed record. The original plan was to be quite chilled and lush, but one thing led to another...

| I've listened to this like 3x since you've posted it, and am only now getting a chance to write something. I liken this mix to agreeing to go on an "easy ride" with your friends and then finding that 20 miles in you're in the drops and pushing the tempo. I can tell where your foot started getting a little heavier on the gas, and by the time you played She Does my hands were fully in the air lol. This was some proper trance, for sure, and I'm glad you're one of the few people around that still keep the sound authentic. I also appreciate that you just play it, without getting all wax poetic like John 00 Fleming about staying with the "roots" of trance. Just play good ! Your fans always expect that from you. Nice work :) |

| Cheers guys, and those are some very kind words, Nick. There's enough good trance being made again now that you don't need to suck your own dick about the fact you play it, and that's a beautiful place to be. |

damn man there is some greatness in this mix.
ok the first 32 minutes was a write off for me, but then it gets special.
snake eyes into x83 into ex machina into mangrove super good! nice slab of mixes following.
that 50 minute segment or so, I need to crop that.
