I know i come across like the old man yells at the clouds
but this i don't get....
when i see DJs playing at clubs, festivals, etc....why are they wearing a shirt with their OWN name on it??

Because if they're too high and get lost on the way home, you know who to return them to :p
(Also, branding: if a video is uploaded somewhere without any credits, you're much more likely to know who that is, no?) |

Yeah, it's just a marketing thing, though undoubtedly tackier than wearing a t-shirt with their label or radio show's name on it.
Still, at least it's SOMETHING on the shirt, unlike when Richie Hawtin was charging $100 for a blank, black t'. (it's mnml fashion!) |
