To reach your destiny from Melbourne
Take the Western Highway (M8) west towards Ballarat. Take the first Ballarat exit, bypassing the town, following signs towards Hamilton onto the Glenelg Highway (B160). Continue along this highway passing through Smythesdale, Scarsdale, Skipton then Streatham.
At the far end of Streatham turn right towards the Grampians on the Rossbridge-Streatham Rd (C182).
Approximately 12km further on, veer right at the crossroads to Mininera and Tatyoon.
Make no turns and keep an eye out for Checkpoint One which will be on your left in approximately 6km. Beware of slow moving local traffic!

Funnily enough, my excitement for this event has gradually built up as it looms closer. A few weeks ago I was like bleh.
I think it's just that I had such a rockin' time at Kryal that I wanna venture back that way for some more good times. :)
However, I did drive to Kryal last week and the trip was so monotonous that I occassionally forgot I was actually behind the wheel. So no way am I drivin' this time (also because I may have ADD)! :D
Anywayz, I've got a good part of a day and half to decide if I should make a decision. :p |
