Lots of old heads here. And if you're still here im guessing you still at least dabble in a bit of trance.

So who in your opinion is the best going around these days? I know it ain't what it used to be but who in your elderly knowledgeable opinion does the best with whats around?

Until very recently I'd have said Adam Pits without question, but recently he seems to be moving into more of a hypnotic techno direction. It always feels like these guys who can do trance with that real extra level of classiness never seem to hang around in the sound for too long - shades of James Holden or even Sasha here.

Of the crop that remain, I've seen most of the big names in the resurgent generation now, although there's still to tick off the list. Probably the ones who've impressed me most have been Spray and Adam Pits' partner in crime Lisene.

Steve Helstrip (the Thrillseekers) still does some vinyl dj sets. And I guess you can call him trance-trance.

He said he's back live in '25.

Anticipating.

I would fly pretty much anywhere.

Yeah, he's a beast. Also his B2B sets with Simon Patterson up to 10 hours are great.

For festivals like Luminosity I think Bryan Kearney always delivers.
