How is tatgirl after the operation? (pg. 3)

Just wanted to let you know that I'm alive and well. My friend Kevin took me to & from the hospital. Even tho he was off his head the nite b4 at Vath/ Hawtin, he took great care of me. Ironically, I was unusually calm, considering my stress levels were at 300-500% for 36 hrs prior. I was -THIS- close to cancelling it!
The operation took less than an hour & 1/2. Waking up was really scary, as I'd expected it to be, based on my wisdom teeth removal experience many years ago. I woke up unable to breathe (major congestion in my throat), barely able to call for help, unable to focus, & in a panic. I started to choke and cry, and was shaking like a leaf. The nurses came to suction my throat, gave me oxygen, and sedated me. When I woke up the 2nd time, I was in another room, and much better off.
I wasn't in much pain at all yesterday. Like I dumbass, I walked tit-first into a doorway, and even that didn't hurt much. I hear a swishing noise coming from my right boob (sounds like a fluid buildup), and I'm not sure if that is normal or cause for alarm yet. I am supposed to take a shower today, and I don't EVEN want to look down. I don't have a stomach for these things. Considering going to buy one of those 'satellite dishes' you put around your pet's head after they have surgery.
I'm doing considerably well, despite all that my body has gone thru in the past 48 hrs:
-barely any sleep
-slipped on some steps on Thurs, leaving me with a hand-sized purple and red 'bruise' on my ass that looks more like a cancerous tumor (and mot10n can attest to that fact!)
-my lower back is killing me from the fall
-breast reduction surgery
-and the cap from the 2 Litre bottle of pop exploded & shot off into my eye when I went to open it today.
I need a massage........ :sadgreen: |

I think my clutzometer is in full throttle these days.... 2 weeks ago I tripped on the steps at my work (2nd time) but this time, I went head-first into the metal door. |

lmao @ the dog satellite thingie, that's so wrong :D i'm very glad that the operation went smoothly, and that you have friends and family around to support you as well. as i've said before, it does suck, but just think of how better it will be getting it off your chest (pun intended :p ) and going through with it. and you did. a big hug and a kiss from me :tongue
how's your ass doing btw? is the bruise conquering the other cheek yet? :p seriously, i feel your pain. but at least you have flesh there. if i fell like you did, holy , my tailbone would've been bruised huge.
man, bruised ass + boob surgery = wow. mad mad props to you nat for still going through with it. big up yoself.
btw, for talla, i will be sure to bring you some special treats :D |

Oh dear... I looked down.
What a mess.... Looks like someone ran over my chest, it's so black & blue. Right boobie is still bleeding a bit. Follow up Dr's visit on Thurs. I think I'm gonna increase my usage of percocets until then.
I got a call today while I was sleeping- some guy saying he was calling from the Dr's office. He said: "We have gotten lots of complaints. They're gonna have to go back in."
(me, in a sleepy stupor): "What will have to go back in?"
(man): "Your boobies"
(me): "Who is this...?"
(man) "sooper"
LOL
For the record- hansolo wouldn't touch my booby the other nite. What a wuss. |
