STYMIE Prelude to Opus b/w EM
Hi All & HNY indeed.
Released a single on 12" vinyl recently & just arrived from overeseas,- "Prelude to Opus"
It's a Tech trance Twilo-esque track reminiscent of the Classic sublimesounds of the Late 20th century.
Layered Semi-melodic synth riffs wrapped around by counterpointes anchored by chugging, relentless techno rhythms & sprinkled with ethereal, Hypnotic atmospherics.
Originally written in 1999 & mixed @ Unique Studios NYC.
After 9-11, just never got around to formerly releasing it & life just got in the way essentially. It encapsulates the stylistics minimal trance sound of the late 90s coming out from the likes of Ibiza & Germany. Dedicated to Jam & Spoon, Matthias Hoffmann.
Remastered in audiophile quality by Graeme @ the Exchange, London.
