It's been our privilege to share some of the most incredible music from the most amazing artists, but we're sorry to say, that the time has come to say goodbye.

There's still plenty of great music available from Traxsource, Beatport, Mixupload and Volumo, but for now, this is Juno Download signing off.

You can download previous orders from your account, and if you need to get in touch, please send us a message, and we will help out however we can.

I've seen a lot of social media posts lamenting this, which quite surprises me. I had a JD account but I very, very rarely used it. The website always seemed like a bit of a relic from the 2000s - I'm not sure they ever updated the design or interface in 20 years, and it was feeling very dated by the end. The fact a lot of people seem to have been using it as their main digital music store is a bit of a shock to me.

Even Airwave used it as well. I guess they didn't want to change things because their website was working well up to a point here they decided it's not becoming profitable anymore.

It was my go to for digital music that was not available on bandcamp. It had an older design, but I still liked it, and I had just purchased some music a few weeks back, glad I did before they shut down.

seriously though, sad to see an old internet website/service go down, pour one out for the homies.

That is such a shame. I had only shopped at Juno Download when I couldn't find a specific track somewhere else, but I knew plenty of people loved to shop there.

Well, Discogs still serves as *the* most comprehensive music database on the internet (and a handy resellers market), so it has sturdy legs, even if its forums are mostly ghost towns.

Every change they make over at discogs makes it worse so who knows

lol there is no "after ta" - in a few decades I'll just leave AI Swamper in charge automating the hosting and moderation. It'll have some BTC to handle any transactions.... good until at least the year 2099.

It'll also take votes for the Top 250 AI DJs and crown the winner as king/queen/non-binary bot playing the sexiest robot music (all frequencies allowed).
