It's time to get new speakers! I want speakers that can handle high volume and much bass. I'm ready to pay up to 500$.

Any recommendations?

What kind of speakers do u have?

I've got some crappy Creative 2.1 Inspire speakers.

I'm planning on getting mini hifi system and hook my comp to the speakers. Can't stand comp speakers.

ya.... i have a panasonic mini hifi system hooked up to my computer... the sound is amaaaaaazing... i think that is your best bet as the mini hifi system has many uses. plus they have tons of equalizer settings on them and muchooooooo bass. the cable used to connect it to ur comp is only like 3 bux.

I have 2 tower speakers hooked up to my PC and TV. 12" woofers 500W (real watts, not computer watts :)) of total power. These speakers make concrete shake. I really don't like computer speakers, and would never waste my money on them. Tower speakers are they way to go for me, even tho they're less compact they are much more powerfull (almost always) :D. Got them hooked up to a 500W 5.1 Dolby Digital Reciever/Amp.

hey, i have a question for you, are tower speakers like that always bassy as hell (even when you turn down the bass) or can they also produce crystal clear sounds when you want them to? thanx in advance.

If I had to buy new speakers, i would buy Cerwin Wega or JBL, speakers that are stading on the ground. I have Cerwin Wega spearkers with 10" bas 6"middle 1"disk they have a really great sound and the can play really loud, there are on 120 watt, spearker that are stading on the ground usually have more bass.

God luck
