| Its said time and time again. Just because a tune is commercial it does not necessarily mean that its cheesy. Im sure many of us have our favourite so called cheese tracks mine being SASH- STAY even thoguh I dont think its cheese. If more trance hit the commercial radio station maybe in meblourne we would have a regular reach for the lasers type trance nite. |

Hmmm I'll do a search for the CJ Stone remix of Rhythm is a dancer if it sounds as good as a Rob Searle production.
Speaking of Rob Searle, it reminds me of:
Frankie goes to Hollywood - The power of love (Rob searle remix)
The original is quite commercial I think... even Celine Dion produced her interpretation. :)
I quite liked Rob Searle's remix, very uplifting trance.

Yeah I remember those too... I and JoeCool were bopping away to the happy hardcore remix of N-trance - set you free just a week ago at Hyperspeed. :) .. It's a very happy-euphoric remix.
Ace of base hahaha!!! Now that's real cheese territory...
"All that she wants... is another baby... she's going tomorrow to get it" - I wondered whether she actually meant getting another child... and I wondered whteher she actually thought it over. :) |

"another night, another dream, but always you, it's like a vision of love that seems to be true"!
:D:D ahh, memories!
i used to be a fan of Sash's Adelante and With My Own Eyes.
...:nervous: |

I wouldn't classify Real McCoy - Another Night as trance... still a great track... loved it then... love it now... I'm sure it was the first track I actually got up at a party and danced to...
Anyway...
*Jam & Spoon - Right in the Night -- commercial but an all-time favourite of mine...
*DJ Bobo - Somebody Dance Wtih Me -- loved it... like it...
*Sash - Adelante & Stay -- memories with Stay and Adelante when I first started loving trance
*Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation -- originality factor when it first came out...
(Please don't kill me):D |

Yeah I used to love Stay actually (never been a fan of his other his other stuff though :-/) and Snap is good for the nostalgic appeal (even though I was probably 10 when it came out the first time - being the old-skool meister I was then  )
But, without wanting to seem like I'm needlessly pooing on cheese, Urban Cookie and Real McCoy were crap then and they ain't sounding any better as time goes on imho fellas....... :D
Now let's talk Culture Beat for some quality house dance music. :D |

"I know what I want... and I want it now... I want you... 'cause I'm Mr Vain"
Hahahahaha!!
How about DJ Bobo... "Love is all around..." his video clips are extreme cheese of the cringeful type! So I guess I shouldn't be mentioning DJ Bobo in a "commercial trance" thread! |

Hi guys! Finally registered, so this is my first post here at TranceAddict! How are ya all?
OK, This song was played quite a lot on the radio a while back:
MARK AUREL - RUNNING
Anyways, that is my favourite commercial track. Its definately good enough to be played in a club though, would like to hear this one played at Altitude at the Dendy :)
Apart from that, I have to say Ian Van Dahl and DJ Sammy are making some sweet tracks.
Cheers,

Hey Man welcome to our gang, don;t forget to join the au.ta ninja tribe!
Anyway I'be never heard Running on the radio before, but I would imagine it would be pretty commercial and yeh it's a great track. The Dumonde remix is awsome!
Ian Van Dahl, well only track I liked was Castles In The Sky, just cause it was so cheesy and happy and I think I had had to much red cordial or something.
And the Green Court Remix of Heaven is better than the original or Radio edit or whatever thre are playing on the radio. It's like Eurocheese to the max, but def better than the poppy version. |
