OMG i love this movie... anyways since i recently aquired it on DVD and watched it like 2 times already, i can't seem to go past the fact that i don't get one part...
When they are beating up Bennie Blanco from Da BronX... and Carlito says...
"The street is watching... she is always watching..."
Okies.. umm why is it a she?? can someone explain to me this... like im thinking God is a He right.. well thats what most people reckon and this ain't a post about God's gender.. but why does he call the street a she???
Hmmm.. interesting ey??

movie discussion threads rule. I bought the dvd the other week too :)
I think calling the street she he might have been reffering to his girlfriend. If she heard he killed billy blanco she might have run away since she didnt want her heart broken again? Especially since he was so close to achieving his dream he didnt want to mess things up, but by not killing him he did. |
