I don't want to choose between these two, but I must pick Uplfting, it does more for me. :)
Hybrid Junkie
Well hybrid and bt are more prog than uplifting. I don't regret my vote :D
Renegade
I like them both obviously, but progressive has been my bitch for the past couple of years or so. I can't remember a trance tune released in that time that even comes close to bringing back the feeling of the stuff I was listening to in 99/2000. :(

Still, I enjoyed both the Armin and Ferry sets here recently, so it's pretty clear that I still like trance (even though I wasn't sure for a while), but it's still all about prog for the moment. :)

10 to 7 . Uplifting will always get my vote. But thats not to say i don't like listening to prog cause i do sometimes. Just as some say uplifting can get cheesy there is plenty of boring prog out there.

how about we stop voting for the best genres and just enjoy good music, genres is what makes it . good music is good music as cliched as that is itself... the beauty is everyone has thier own opinons noones right no ones wrong... just differant... and the more you appreciate EVERYTHING on its merits ie. good music from whatever "genre" the better understanding and enjoyment we will all have of electronic music...
