reminder of the impendinng slowdown

I remember last year..about this time, I ordered 2 packages, one from Juno, one from Chem. Neither got here quickly at all
(both in excess of a month), why? becuase the x-mas slowdown is right around the corner. So if you are ordering records in the near future, expect shipment delays say in the next week and a half to two weeks all the way thru the 1st week on Jan. We all know its gonna happen, so dont be upset when it does.
Or be like me and say Im not ordering until x-mas is over. Saves the frustration. |

ugh.. slowdowns SUCK
luckily my record shop just bags everything as i pay for it.. buy 5 or 6 records a week, then have them sent to me every 4 to 6 weeks via FedEx... :D |

| last year u hav 2 remember there was a certain incident regarding the WTC and flying planes in the general direction thereof, which affected all movement of goods around the world, especially those travelling trans-atlantically. |

Actually I didnt notice that much of a slowdown after sept 11, it wasnt until after the anthrax attacks started that mail started to slow down. Even then things didnt slow down much until X-mas came around.
and thats just around the corner. |
