ok, so I just got a Electrix Filerqueen. I have a Vestax PMC 170 A, so I took the effect out, plugged it into the in, plugged the out from the filter and put it into the the return. Only I dont hear anything no matter what I do.
ive read the manual..and from what I can tell im doing things right. Anybody know whats going on?
Do I have it hooked up wrong? Am I doing something wrong? |

| is there a switch or a dial to activate the effects send/return. Usually, you need to activate the connection somehow, be it a switch or a knob. |

| make sure you set the effect unit's out mix to fully wet (open) (probably), also check all kinda settings in your mixer, make sure it sends signal to the effect out, for instance by hooking this up to your stereo. Once you know the effect unit receives input you can look further, do any leds light up etc etc |

I ended up looking over the entire thing, and with the volume on the song turned way down, I could hear the effect in the silence. Made me so confused and angry, so I start lookin @ it again. And I realise that the 1/4 inch jacks for both Ins arent plugged in all the way. Pop em in and now it works.
but boy will I ever have a lot of learning to do with this thing. |
