Sorry for not replying before. Been ill the last days, so internet hasn't been my first priority. I still haven't got any answer from Nordlicht. I have now tried one of his other email adresses, and hope for an answer soon.
I really look forward to listening to this mix and I really want to have that tune in, but I can understand if you don't want to wait anymore. Hopefully I'll get my answer today or tomorrow:)

And by the way the tracklist looks great, how did you pick which tune goes where? Did you like listen to them all and put them in the smoothest progression from softest to hardest? Did you just throw them in a random order? Did you put them in the the order most easiest to mix into one another? Did you... :D |

Virtual TurnTables
The mixing process was semi-random - I put Fatboy's remix as an opener because of the intro, then I tried to put the harder tracks to the end of the set (that's the way I like it :) ), but mostly I was just trying to find two tunes that mix together well...
Actually I was quite surprised by the continuity of the mix myself - there was so huge variation between the tracks that the mixing seemed almost impossible at first :) |
