So what Jihad is, is exactly what the Christians did during the crusades when conquering most of europe during middle earth. The crusades was to a holy war to convert the damed people who didn't believe in the bible.
Now, that is exactly what muslim militant groups are trying to do, is to get ride of all the NoN-Muslim people in the middle east, because they think they are infidels. They don't have the manpower to do so, or the brains, so they strap bombs on people so we will fear them. So, anyone sympathising with this cause, has no respect for human life, and is a terrorist. Like America has said many times, were at war, and the day you step out on the front lines of that war, is they day you can understand what jihad is. |

well..then I have a simple question for you, why do Arab broadcasts call the bombers, martyrs, and Europe, Isreal, and american broadcasts call them Suicide bombers?

Big difference between, martyr and suicide bomber.I have many friends from Egypt, Isreal, and Turkey, that I hang around with in toronto here, and they are all great people. I am not saying all muslims are terrorists, but they are being taught to hate, through schools, and there TV. Even my friend from Saudi arabia agree's with me.
So I had my say....and I wont argue the point. But you got to admit, that's a strange twist of words. So whatever, I won't comment to this thread after this post. |

Dont beleive the media
there is a way to alter people's perception by using words and the way u put them in order and to make peole beleive things or concentrate on one point more then the other ..i know this cauz i took a communication course that helped me master these technics but anyways ..in journalisme .if they dont have a story they can actually use some words that will catch enough ur attentionto a way that u wont concentrate on the rest of the story because ur already satisified with these strong words that they used at the beginning of there reportage... so anyways all i wannna say is that these words like martyr and ....
are all there to create a certain image to the public and the rest of what they say will be always processed to the definition of this word even if it isnt related ...it is all psychological cauz if u dont know nothing u will beleive everything

and by the way im egyptian ..the first signs of terrorism against americans was in egypt but beleive me we were not raised like this..and ben laden is taking advantage of poor people with false promises and he is american made by the way he is MAde in USA |

I am muslim, but i dont hate people. I dont wear bombs, I dont blow things up, I dont go to people's home and shoot them,I dont call people names, I dont beleive in martyr,Jihad, or any of sort of . Neither does my dad,my sister, or the other 1000 Iranian people that we know. But of course it doesn't matter right, the minute I state Iam muslim then that means i kill people. and I like bombs, and that jihad means "holy war". |

i think there's way too much Nationalism on the TO forums these days .. i mean there's nothing wrong with being proud of your country and heritage, but if it ends up making you guys fight over one another all the time then i think we should all ease up .. !

| OK lets get something straight, it is our right to post what we want. as long as its not offensive we can, even if its political or religious. to those guys telling us to shut up: NO, you shut up. Nobody died and made you god, and nobody, I mean, no body, gave you the right to blantly tell others to shut up. This is a forum, just because its about music, doesn't mean we only keep it music based. If you don't like that, then dont bother posting here. Its as simple as that. Too many people think they have the right to tell others what to do. Part of forums is to raise discussions, even some heated ones.
