ghb is a powerful sleep aide, used in the past (and maybe now still? im not sure) for medical purposes. ghb only becomes dangerous if you either take way WAY past your dose (like, doubling it or more), or mix it with alcohol or another form of depressant. when you take a lot of ghb, you basically pass out, hard... and no one can rouse you out of it. this makes people think you are having serious problems, but in reality, thats just how ghb works.. it knocks you out, puts you in a very deep, but SAFE, coma-like sleep. (that you wake up from in around 4 hours or so, feeling fine)
now, if you combine it with alcohol, that coma-like sleep happens much, much faster.. which is why its used as a date rape drug. slip it in a drink, give it to someone, and they pass out, and they wont be waking up for a few hours.
so no, it doesnt primarily exist as a date rape drug, but thats one of its uses that people have found.
many people prefer to take 1-4-b, since the dose is regulated. the one main problem with ghb is that the dose is NOT regulated, so lets say your dose is 2 ml with one batch, but the next batch might be twice as concentrated.. and thus, if you take the same amount, you could overdose. 1-4-b is a chemical that is very similar to ghb, but your dose is your dose is your dose, since its regulated.. thus, not a very high chance at all of having problems, unless you are stupid and mix .
ghb is a drug just like e... not necessarily very dangerous in itself (tho e of course has all these predictions of long term damage), but gets a load of bad media. e because of party kids, and ghb because of the possibility of being used as a "date rape" drug. in reality, its quite safe as long as you arent a total moron about it.

This guy I know who's friend (I know it sounds convoluted) was a heroin addict told me that all he did was shoot up, watch TV and then fall asleep. Why the hell would you ruin your life for that kind of "experience?" |

i used to take ghb every night when it was legal...u could buy it in drug stores...its a growth hormone that helped repair ur muscles faster...it worked great...but then people started taking too much of it and dying..so i stopped taking it.
that stuff is evil..my friend died right in front of me from that ...he took the fake stuff that people were mixing in their bath tubs at home. |
