is there a way to rip a section of streamed music???
i don't care about quality...
i just heard this really sweet bit on the bbc radio... and wanna know if there's a way of ripping it..

if u dont care about quality download Total Recorder. Rip it in wav, and then encode to whatever bitrate u want. |

Windows 98 allows you to record internally, using sound forge, or any other recording progie. Just set your mixers record output to wave , and hit record. |

but if i "did" care about quality, wot program would you suggest??

Get the latest Sound Forge to rip to wav and then use a program called LAME to convert from wav to mp3 ;) Soundforge isnt freeware tho.. so u'll need a *cough cough crack or serial num* hehehehe... |

i record in the best quality with total recorder and then us lame to convert it to mp3....after doin that bit, i use the mpeg cutter (which is available in the software page on TA) to cut the parts which i want |

wot's "best quality" total recorder???
like i have total recorder 4.0 ... and i try to record in cd quallity but i found that there's always quality loss through it...
mine's registered an all too ;)

thats coz there's no such thing as best quality total recorder :p Its a pile of e.. it loses to much quality. |
