Army Helicopter On Vice City

| I know where the army helicopter is on vice city. if anybody wants to know where it is post a message and i will send a reply. |

umm you should all try looking for GTA faqs, cause they definitely exist on the net...
as for the heli, its in the airbase, dressing as a cop helps, and youll need all 100 packages before you can even get it.

| There is an Apache in the military base near the airport...it's very hard to get by foot so u'll want to go by helicopter...and even then it is difficult to get. But if you want to keep it you'll need to collect all 100 packages and then it will be stationed at your mansion I think, everytime you load. |

Actually it never stays at the mansion-the only way to keep one all the time is to throw it in a garage, which means you park it and push it in. Only a couple are big enough to hold them though. The Sea Sparrow is stationed at the mansion after 80, but the Apache always stays at the base. Which I don't mind, I think it's easy as to get even w/o a cop uniform, just fly in and make sure there aren't troops around.
I have about 4 Apaches stored at the car dealership for no real reason, and one at the north apartment too, and a ton of bikes as well, I can't get enough of those...I love wreaking havoc:p |

I know where the helicopter is but i have one problem. the problem is, is that i always get killed before i get in the helicopter, or if i do get in the helicopter they just blow the out of it. Can any one give me a work through on how to get the appache helicopter.:(

How do you approach getting the helicopter? Do you drop into the base with another helicopter or drive through? I heard it's MUCH easier if you drop in from the air ;) |

It is MUCH easier to fly in than to drive in, I can guarantee death by driving. If you fly in, just make sure that there aren't troops around before you land and you'll be all set. If there are, don't land! They'll either tear your ass out of the chopper and kill you, or just blow it up. If there aren't any soldiers it's a walk in the park.
And in a cop uniform you can just walk right in and take it, no problems. |

weyyyy...... i finally got it. The helicopter which is in the airbase, is a hunter. Does anybody know where i can find the appache, or is the hunter the appache?
