Just kidding... anyway, me, the one and only, and a few other party animals (I really mean it), are coming down to New York for New Year's! YAY! And I need your help guys, I need the info on places to stay, hotels, telephone numbers if possible, anything close to downtown or within driving distance (even tho I don't think using a car in downtown NY around that time would be a good idea)...
We're planning to check out Deep Dish @ Republic, and Saeed & Palash @ Arc, so anything close to those two places would be just great... just have in mind that I don't have much "dinero" to spend, so am not looking for luxury suites, just something affordable... hotel, motel, whatever.
If you can help me out here, please do... maybe some websites I can look up all this info at, specific hotels/phone #'s, etc.

Oh yeah, one more question... does anyone have any information on those 2 clubs (Republic and Arc)? Websites, contact info, possible tickets prices for the NYE?

i posted a thread with info on arc here in the ny forums. gonna be about $30 for the night.
don't know about republic though.

I know arc's website but not sure if Republic has one.

| Republic is in Mid town neer Penn Station and ARc is all the way down town. As for the Website I only know what Limelights web address used to be but its down now. |

How is the traffic at that time of the year?
Because I am looking for hotels right in the smack of the Entertainment district, to avoid all the traffic/cab costs or whatever... any suggestions? |
