Hi everybody I have to say i am really bored of all these thousands of djsss who think they are great musicians....
Every time every party always the same .....beuuuuuurggghhh
I think Live Acts are much more interesting to communicate feelings with party people. What do you think ?!?

in a way i think thats true.. coz the Live Acts themselves, i think immerse themselves within the music more.. and therefore have a better feel for what to be playing and stuffs..
Pulsedriver, Rank 1, Dumonde and Hybrid are those i've heard or seen a live set from and they're pretty quality live.. u can see how much they put into it on stage..
I'm not saying that DJs don't.. but when the crowd sees the live acts performing.. i think they feel with them? if ya know wut i mean....

yeah...i know what you mean. it's too bad their aren't more live performances. true...that their are sooo many djs out there, but certain djs, like tiesto and pvd. tiesto really gets into the music that he spins and totally immerses his being with the crowd. heck, he leaves the tables sometimes to dance with the crowd. :)

pvd's sets kinda resemble a story to me...they like have their own little storyline thing going on. lol. yeah i'm just crazy. but his sets, to me, seriously take me a journey. it's awesome.

anyway, live performances are a good breath of fresh air and some of the artists, like the ones infin mentioned are quality. hopefully we'll see more of them....
South Trancer

Just remember that whether it's a live act or a DJ set they always play records. It is not possible to play a trance tune by using live equipment (drum machines, keyboards etc.) The song would be out of time and out of tune.

So live performers just pretend like they're doing something while the CD is playing on the background.

umm sorrie.. i don't agree..
Rank 1 @ TE was the best example..
they used drum machines, keyboards, etc. the whole way through.. not 1 record was touched...

I seen the Chemical Brothers live in November last year, live at the Point theatre in Dublin - and they wer ing amazing. Sasha supported, got everyone going, then the Chem Bros kicked in with "Hey Boy, Hey Girl!" and the place went ing bananas!
But just to see them on the stage giving it socks on the stage was fantastic, as was their light and images displays. Whether they were playing live or not, I dunno. Their tunes would be impossible to do live - so I'd guess they had most of the hard work done already.
But I did hear they did the same show in England, and they just put on the tune and sat back and let it play - massive disappointment.
If a DJ is playing live, there is a hell of a lot that can go wrong, mush of which is out of their control, and 5mins downtime in a DJ set is a hell of a long time.
If the set isn't entirely live, then as long as they out effort into their stage appearance - who cares?!!!!
Just my opinion.
A brilliant Dj to see live is our own John Checini - he goes mental to his own music so you connect better, plus he normally dives out of his DJ box and body surfs around the crowd - ing brilliant!

Totally agree with south trancer and Lynx there. A true DJ is someone who doesn't sit back and enjoy his/her brilliant work. Is someone who can feel the music, the audience wishes and is always striving for perfection. Tiësto truly is fantastic on that and even though some people criticise him and say he's often overated he has that gift of giving the audience what they want.
I've only seen him live once but I got all his livesets I can lay my hand on and I'm telling you there's not a single one that I don't like!
Check out the video from Sensation at the music videos session to see the true meaning of that....
