Hi all,
I'm fairly new to this forum, but not to trance or dance music - it rules!! I have over 13,000 mp3s of trance.
From now on I think I'm gonna start coming to this board a lot lot more now - it's real cool I think after having a good look around :)
Anyway, I have a question:
I've noticed that some people on this board have small pictures next to their username - why is this? How do I get one? Is this dependant on the number of posts people make to the board??
Please let me know.

Those lil' pics are called avatars,and it sort of a 'cachet' of a person,lynx is well known for his red 'x':D you often recognize a person quicker by lookin at his avatar,you can upload any picture you want,and doesn't depends on you amount of posts,just go to profile,and you will find it there |

First of all you need to be extremely cool.. (like me)
and second of all you need to do this:
At the bottom of the "Edit Options" section in Profile there's a "Change Avatar" button. Click on that to select an avatar to go beside your name on posts.
You can also upload yr own avatar.. 2 bad it must be very tiny.. you can find/steal avatars from all over the internet or just take one from this sites library.. (Be sure not to take one which is allready in use ;-)

I see... thanks for the responses!
But is the 'tranceaddict in training' I have changes after I've made more posts? What are the various levels of tranceaddict??
I've seen all these different types:
Senior trancEaddict
trancEaddict pochacho
Supreme trancEaddict
Is this something which can be set?? Or something which is dependant on number of posts?
If it is on number of posts how many posts does someone need to do to get to each level? How many levels are there?
Sorry for all the questions....just getting myself in the know :)

It goes like this:
tranceaddict in training: 0-25 posts
tranceaddict junior: 26-50 posts
Tranceaddict: 51-75 posts
TRanceaddict Senior: 76-200 posts
Supreme Tranceaddict: 201 and more posts
The other names that you find are from people that changed their name, I think you can do that when you have 400 and more posts |
