I like the Yamaha CS6X. Mainly because nobody uses it and its sounds are just as good as the virusb not c. With a little tweaking i can make some awsome patches. You can also add a card to make it sound like A1NX
DJ_TonKs
Yamaha AN1X gives you fat & powerful sound :)

i own it for 3 years now and im very happy to have it ^_^

xfer: what is the price for CS6x? do you have keyboard version or rack? i'm thinking of buying one these days....

to explore some of the hardware synths try www.vintagesynth.com/

My friend has it in his studio in La.. I like it better then his virus b and the Jp 8000. He has the keyboard not the rack. You can find the keyboard for about $600 used $1000 brand new. Some of my tracks have the sounds i sampled from it :p

coby: np m8, i have some other cool links, maybe will open thread with them :D

xfer: sweet! dude, i'm definately going to buy one. i think rack coz i have midi controler keyboard already...

cheers

ms_bug, I would recommend buying the keyboard version instead of the CS6R. I had the rack version, but I found editting on that synth quite difficult. I think it's better to buy the keyboard version because that one has more knobs, so you can faster and easier edit your sounds. It doesn't really matter wich one you buy if you're going for the presets though, I'll guess.
Kid Epic
if you can afford it...

Musicmaker: thanx man, i almost bought the R but i will consider what you said. the presets-hell no, i didn't spent so much time on learning just to use presets :D

Could not agree more ;)
Very rich sound, much underrated, interface is less a pain than you might think !

I like my micro Q also, for more digital sounds, tough it can do some warm pads too
